Post-Doctor Researcher Ke Tan (柯檀)
B.S. 2016, M. S. & PhD 2021 Wuhan University
武汉大学(本科2016,硕博连读2021)
Tan’s main research during his master’s and doctoral studies was microbe-assisted phytoremediation of copper and cadmium contaminated soil, involving the distribution of heavy metals in mining soil, accumulation and transport of heavy metals in plants, interaction between neighboring stressed plants, rhizosphere microbial community structure and composition, plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) screening, and the improvement of plant photosynthesis and root morphology induced by PGPR. He also collaborated with his colleagues to study the accumulation and transport of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in pakchoi, and the correlation between rhizosphere microorganisms of Elsholtzia haizhuensis and environmental factors, etc. The related work has been published on Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Pollution, Chemosphere, Catena, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, etc. Tan is currently following Prof. Lu in Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) as a postdoc to carry out work related to the recovery of heavy metals in soil and produce energy by the plant-microbial electrochemical system.
