Yang’s research mainly focuses on the application of quinone mediator in biological treatment of water pollution and the interaction effect between the immobilized quinone and microorganisms, involving the immobilization technology of quinone mediator, the catalytic stability of anthraquinone-2-sulfonate modified polyurethane foam (AQS-PUF) and its impact on the microbial community, the mechanism of synergistic effect between the immobilized AQS and reduced graphene oxide on acid red 18 bio-decolorization, and the effect of flavins secreted by Shewanella sp. RQs-106 on GO bio-reduction and AQS-PUF mediated acid red 18 bio-decolorization.
